The Award
For the Award, you must achieve units 1 and 2.
Unit 1: An introduction to working with children
Unit 2: Development from conception to age 16 years
The Certificate
For the Certificate, you must achieve Units 1 and 2 plus units 3 - 5.
Unit 3: Supporting children
Unit 4: Keeping children safe
Unit 5: The principles underpinning the role of the practitioner working with children
The Diploma
For the Diploma, you must achieve Units 1 - 5 plus units 6 - 9 and 3
of the option units From Units 10 - 21. These will be chosen by your
Centre. Your Centre will select subjects that match the expertise of
their tutors and give you the best skills for finding work in your
